I'm looking at buying a 6 cylinder vy or vz ute in the next few months. I was more interested in a vz but after quite a bit of research it has become apparent that the general view of the community is that the ecotec engine is much more reliable than the alloytec engine. I am looking for something with around 100,000-130,000 kms.

If you have an auto, then why not mod it up and protect your g/box by fitting a designated aftermarket transmission cooler. Then i guess you can get a radiator for a manual,
VY ute. Mar 5, 2015. #1. my vy is having fuel pump issues, shudders at highway speeds and when taking of from a dead stop. looking at replacing the fuel pump my question is will a VX sedans fuel pump fit my Vy ute ( my old man has an old written off vx just want to know if they will fit before i dive into it) Cheers.
