Batgirl's A Matter of Family is a solid story about 35-60 minutes long. It's kind of like a baby Arkham Asylum. It's a contained area with tons of detail. But City does have the advantage in that the counters and attacks are very easy to see as individual motions. Sometimes in Knight, it's hard to tell what's going on.
Maybe it’s easier if you have experience with the Arkham style. I certainly died a lot on my first play through but I never thought the game was overly hard unless one starts on the highest difficulty right away with no experience. But most of the militia fights come down to strategy rather than brute force. 8.
Origins has the great gameplay of City, but a much better, more interesting, more coherent, better told, and more consistent story. It also has gameplay improvements. Asylum's gameplay is much shallower, but the atmosphere, plot, music, sound, environment, EVERYTHING is just fucking perfect. It's an expertly crafted Metroidvania-style
Final verdict. 9/10 - AMAZING. While this game improves on Arkham Asylum, the boss fights are still horrible and if not for the bad twist at the end of the story I might have given it a 10/10.
